METAL HEART Co-Presentation

We’re delighted to co-present METAL HEART at this year’s European Film Festival Toronto.

When: Sunday 17 November 2019, 6:00PM.

Where: Royal Cinema Toronto, 608 College St.

What:  Fraternal twin sisters Emma and Chantal are worlds apart. Emma is self-conscious, and unsure of which path to take in life; she dreams of starting a band (they have a pie- chart) with her best friend Gary (Seán Doyle), who secretly has a crush on her. Chantal, meanwhile, is beautiful, confident, and knows exactly where her life is headed. When their parents go away for the summer, their simmering sibling rivalry threatens to boil over, especially when the mysterious next door neighbour moves back in.

Now in its 10th year, the Toronto Irish Film Festival celebrates the very best of Irish cinema and promotes the work of Irish filmmakers to the Greater Toronto Irish community and the Toronto film festival public.

With sold-out screenings from 2010 to 2019, TIRFF has quickly assumed the role of leading promoter of Irish film within Canada.

The Toronto Irish Film Festival is currently seeking vibrant leaders who share our commitment to Irish film. We are looking for professionals with experience in not-for-profit/non profit governance/budgeting/finance, fundraising/development, event planning and event production.

If you’re interested in this opportunity, please forward a letter of interest and resume, highlighting relevant qualifications and experience, indicating “Board Director” in the subject line HERE.

The deadline for applications is October 31st 2019.
